T he dozen musicians of the St. Paul-based Rose Ensemble have quickly established themselves as foremost interpreters of the choral tradition. Specializing in Early Music and rediscovered gems, the group is known for its meticulous research, its astonishing musicianship, and the versatility of its repertoire. First-place winner in the sacred music category at the 2007 Tolosa International Choral Competition in Spain, the Rose Ensemble will perform Celebremos el Niño: A Mexican Baroque Christmas to begin the holiday season.
