Zuill Bailey, whose recordings of Bach and Beethoven have received critical acclaim, is known as one of the pre-eminent cellists of his generation. He teams with longtime Series favorite Lydia Artymiw to present the world premiere of Pathways of Desire by Minnesota composer David Evan Thomas, commissioned especially for Music in the Park Series. Bach’s Cello Suite No. 6 and Cello Sonata No. 2 in F Major by Brahms complete the program.
