Violinist Jorja Fleezanis, former concertmaster of the Minnesota Orchestra and recently
appointed professor of music at Indiana University, returns to the Twin Cities for her
fifth Music in the Park Series recital. Fleezanis and pianist Karl Paulnack, formerly of
the University of Minnesota and currently director of Boston Conservatory’s Music
Division, will present "A Program of Music and Poetry, To Honor the Memory of Michael Steinberg" which includes works by Copland, Crumb and de Falla, as well as
Ravel’s Kaddish and Beethoven’s “Spring” sonata.
