For more than three decades, the KLR Trio has been dazzling audiences and setting performance standards for the art of the piano trio. One of the few chamber groups with
its original members, the trio will perform works by Beethoven, Richard Danielpour,
and Schubert. Named the 2002 “Ensemble of the Year” by Musical America, the trio
recently recorded the complete Brahms trio cycle on Koch International Classics.
This activity is made possible in part by a grant provided by the Minnestoa State Arts Board, through an
appropriation by the Minnesota State Legislature from the Minnesota arts and cultural heritage fund with money from
the vote of the people of Minnesota on November 4, 2008, and a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
